Fundraiser

Term: 1 year

The Fundraiser advisory board member will organize and maintain events and campaigns to raise money and other donations/sponsorships for HWH.

Job Duties

  • Research, identify and outreach to prospective donors / sponsors
  • Obtain gifts/product donations
  • Identify, build and manage sponsorships
  • Sponsor appreciation efforts
  • Involve HWH with special fundraising programs
  • Create donor information archive for future use

Operations

Term: 1 year

The Operations advisory board member will be responsible for some of the general operations of HWH.

  • Vendor needs

Operations advisory board member will be asked to attend a monthly meeting, as well as the following events:

  • Banquet - March  
  • 5K Run & Gun - June 
  • Golf Tournament - Aug. 
  • Shot Show - Jan. 
  • Auto Show - Feb. 
  • Klickitat Salutes - Oct.

Marketing

Term: 1 year

The Marketing/Media advisory board member will be responsible for marketing Home with Heroes and all Home with Heroes’ events on. This position will work directly with the President of HWH, as well as Parliament to keep HWH current in the public eye. Non-profit marketing and communications experience required.

Job Duties

  • Press Releases and media outreach, spokesperson as needed
  • Flyers
  • Event Calendars
  • Style Guide
  • Agency contact and management

Marketing/Media advisory board member will be asked to attend a monthly meeting, as well as the following events:

  • Banquet - March

  • Golf Tournament - Aug. 
  • Shot Show - Jan. 
  • Auto Show - Feb. 
  • Klickitat Salutes - Oct.

Photography

Term: 1 year

The Photography advisory board member will organize and maintain photography needs for HWH. Professional photography experience required.

Job Duties

  • Photo checklists
  • Photos for flyers
  • Style Guides
  • Event photography
  • Obtaining additional photographers when needed

Photography advisory board member will be asked to attend a monthly meeting, as well as the following events:

  • Banquet - March
  • 5K Run & Gun - June
  • Golf Tournament - Aug.
  • Special events - as needed
  • Auto Show- Feb.
  • Klickitat Salutes - Oct.
  • Deer Camp
  • Turkey Camp
  • Pheasant Camp
  • Old West Camp
  • Elk Camp
  • Fish Camp

Videography

Term: 1 year

The Videography advisory board member will organize and maintain video needs for HWH. Professional video production experience required.

Job Duties

  • Video checklists and storyboards
  • Videos for promoting events (filming and editing/post-production)
  • Style Guides
  • Event videography
  • Obtaining and managing additional videographers when neede

Videography advisory board member will be asked to attend a monthly meeting, as well as the following events:

  • Banquet - March  
  • 5K Run & Gun - June 
  • Golf Tournament - Aug. 
  • Shot Show - Jan. 
  • Auto Show - Feb. 
  • Klickitat Salutes - Oct.
  • Deer Camp
  • Turkey Camp
  • Pheasant Camp
  • Old West Camp
  • Elk Camp
  • Fish Camp

Guide Program

Term: 1 year

The Guide Program advisory board member will identify, organize, manage and maintain the relationships with professional guides for hunting and fishing trips.

  • Fishing guides
  • Hunting guides
  • Donated trips
  • Guide check lists
  • Guide schedules
  • Keep records of guides HWH uses

Guide Program advisory board member will be asked to attend a monthly meeting, as well as the following events:

  • Shot Show - Jan. 
  • Auto Show - Feb. 
  • Klickitat Salutes - Oct.

Talent

Term: 1 year

The Talent advisory board member will organize and schedule entertainment, speakers and special guests for events.

Job Duties

  • Managing musicians - contracts, rider, payment as applicable
  • Celebrity handling - identifying, contracts, agent negotiations and payment as applicable
  • Civic and community leaders
  • Guest speakers
  • Talent schedules/agendas and onsite handlin

Talent advisory board member will be asked to attend a monthly meeting, as well as the following events:

  • Banquet - March  
  • 5K Run & Gun - June 
  • Golf Tournament - Aug. 
  • Shot Show - Jan. 
  • Auto Show - Feb. 
  • Klickitat Salutes - Oct.

Volunteer Coordinator

Term: 1 year

The Volunteer coordinator advisory board member will organize and maintain volunteer needs.

Job Duties

  • Coordinate crews for each event
  • Oversee volunteer training
  • Volunteer assignments and onsite management
  • Volunteer appreciatio

Grant Writer

Term: 1 year

The Grant writer will research and obtain grants for HWH.

Job Duties

  • Research grants
  • Research special programs HWH might qualify for

Land Manager

Term: 1 year

The Land Manager advisory board member will be responsible for land leases, land upkeep and managing assets at properties.

Job Duties

  • Keep up leases and other requirements for land HWH uses
  • Feeders
  • Upkeep and Maintenance of land
  • Asset management at each site

Land Manager advisory board member will be asked to attend a monthly meeting, as well as the following events:

  • Banquet - March  
  • 5K Run & Gun - June 
  • Golf Tournament - Aug. 
  • Shot Show - Jan. 
  • Auto Show - Feb. 
  • Klickitat Salutes - Oct.

Finance

Term: 1 year

The Finance advisory board member will be responsible for budgets and financial bookkeeping. Experience with non-profit financial management a must.

  • Budgets and forecasting
  • Reconciling
  • Tracking income
  • Collections
  • Taxes
